Welcome to the Super Bowl edition of the Brew Crew Corner. It has been an exciting season, and it's even better when your team is playing in the Super Bowl. One thing fantasy football leagues lack is a Pro Bowl game. Since fantasy leagues don't have a Pro Bowl, I simulate a game each year to showcase the best fantasy players. Could you imagine if you had all these players on your roster? Records would fall.

(MyFantasyLeague.com Fantasy Times Sources - Dec 27, 2010) In a week 16 Civil War V showdown, superfreaks squeaked by a tough Maxwell team by a score of 104 to 94, extending the winning streak for superfreaks to 7 games.
superfreaks were led to their 10 point victory by a 23 point effort from Arian Foster, who got by the Denver Broncos defense for 91 rushing yards and 1 rushing TD in addition to 44 receiving yards. With this performance, Foster was the number 4 ranked running back for week 16. They also got help from a 21 point effort from Zach Miller, who snuck past the Indianapolis Colts defense for 66 receiving yards and 1 receiving TD.
"We're tickled to death," superfreaks coach Rick said.
Maxwell were helped out in a losing cause by a 27 point effort from Matt Forte, who beat the New York Jets defense for 113 rushing yards and 1 rushing TD in addition to 56 receiving yards. With this performance, Forte was the number 2 ranked running back for week 16. They also got help from a 25 point effort from Michael Vick, who got by the Minnesota Vikings defense for 263 passing yards and 1 passing TD in addition to 63 rushing yards.
"You've got to hand it to them," Maxwell coach Jereme said.
Compounding the issue, Maxwell could have scored 122 points and earned the win with their best lineup, but Jereme left key players like Brandon Lloyd and his corresponding 17 points on the bench.
superfreaks took advantage of their schedule this week, as their point total would have gone for a loss against 6 out of 8 other potential opponents in week 16.
This brings the record for superfreaks to 11-2, and drops Maxwell to a record of 9-4.
